Exploiting the Potential of Magnetic Nanoparticles for Rapid Diagnosis Tests (RDTs): Nanoparticle-Antibody Conjugates and Color Development Strategies

Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have emerged as a promising material in disease diagnostics due to their potential enhance detection sensitivity, facilitate concentration and purification of target substances diverse samples, enable favorable color-based detection. In this study, antibody-conjugated MNPs were successfully synthesized validated through two appropriate methods: the measurement MNPs’ size use phosphatase methods. Additionally, three methods suggested implemented for developing color MNPs-based immunoassay, including formation MNP aggregations, utilization peroxidase-like activity, synthesis dually-conjugated with both enzyme antibody. particular, development utilizing nanoparticle aggregations was demonstrated result more yellowish virus increased, while peroxidase activity exhibited proportional increase intensity increased.
